Nexus are working with NHS Gloucestershire Care Services, Gloucestershire NHS Foundation Trust, NHS Gloucestershire 2gether NHS Trust and Gloucestershire College to develop a Foundation Degree in Health Care Practice.
The partners are working together to develop an alternative route into nursing and other allied professions to meet latent and unmet demand within current provision in the county. The new development will enable employees to enhance their academic, personal and professional development via work based learning, whilst enabling the employer to fulfil their strategy in relation to staff development and alleviate future staffing shortages in nursing and radiography.
